This is worth further research, for a few reasons. One, it’s yet another contradiction of the anti-immigrant argument that immigrants are a drain on the economy. (I believe “immigrants,” by which I usually mean migrants to the U.S., must be an overwhelmingly large chunk of the worldwide migrant population as far as dollars are concerned.)
